Business portraits in Goring | Branding photography with Caroline

Caroline is a wonderful lady and book keeper, she had seen my work and had already decided she wanted to work with me so we booked a zoom call to get to know each other and for me to learn more about Caroline and her business before the shoot as well as to plan out locations/outfit ideas to take her business portraits in Goring.

We had such a beautiful day on this Goring business branding shoot in December 2020 just before we went into another lockdown.

We started off at the Swan in Streatley which is a beautiful coffee shop that over looks the river. We enjoyed our favourite hot drinks, photos on the sofa, at the tables, by the fire and then we moved onto the Coppa Club in Streatley and we ordered our substantial meal with drinks, red wine for Caroline and a green tea for me. We sat at a table with a glorious back drop and of course we took some beautiful photos for Caroline’s business.

Next we captured some office based photos and we finished the shoot with lots of outdoor photos showing stunning Goring & Streatley and capturing Caroline’s warm personality who is a beautiful lady inside and out.

I even got to see George Michaels house. I have been to Goring many times and had still not seen it so Caroline agreed to show me when I asked.

Caroline had a little disaster right at the beginning of the shoot - her boot came apart which lightened the mood straight away. I was not going to share this but Caroline did (see below) so I think it is ok to share haha. Bad things can be turned around with a little humour and some elastic bands and superglue.

We lives a few villages apart so when Caroline told me she lived in Goring I had to invite her to a Goring natural netwalking group. As a HUGE lover of walking in nature I was due to attend my first session that month so we both attended our first one together and we got to know each other there too before the shoot.

We both enjoyed the walk very much so will both be going again and I must have enjoyed it too much as I decided to become a leader of that walk together with personal travel expert Alex of not just travel who I really trust with all my travel questions.

If you are interested in getting out with other people in business whilst keeping fit with some beautiful views and finishing off with a coffee at the Swan in Streatley please feel free to ask my any questions. Netwalking is great as you build local connections, synergy, it improves the amount of work that you do as you feel so much better after a walk. I walk every day alone, with parents, with friends and now with natural netwalks too and sincerely believe that after 8 hours sleep it is the most important thing to keep me healthy, happy and productive and recommend it to everyone all the time.

Back to the wonderful Caroline please see below for some of my favourite images from our really lovely and fun business branding shoot.

What. A. Year!

Ok so it’s fair to say it’s been a different year to what we all thought or had planned when we saw in 2020 this time last year.

Many of us have had to make some seriously tough decisions. I know I have!

The positives I take from this year are, in between lockdowns I managed to join a wonderful Natural Netwalking group which I haven’t officially signed up to yet but plan to in January.

I also got to squeeze in a branding photo shoot early in December with the super talented and super sweet Tina Cleary for my bookkeeping business.

It was definitely the highlight of my year and Tina was great at making me feel relaxed and comfortable even when the sole of my boot decided to flip off as I walked up the steps to the cafe we were meeting. She went above and beyond to try and find a solution to this very unfortunate problem (some glue and elastic bands). 😂 It was pretty funny though and certainly made light of the whole experience which I was pretty nervous about.

Anyone looking for a photographer specialising in business branding then Tina is your gal.

If you are looking to get your finances organised this year then send me a DM.

Happy New Year all, may it be a much healthier and prosperous year than this last one!

Caroline posted this on New Years eve on Linkedin. I was really happy to read this and can honestly say I loved the shoot too. It was like a lovely day out with a friend which resulted in happy, authentic images for Caroline's business and a warm feeling in my heart. Very lucky to have this job & to meet so many wonderful people.
